Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026 · Draft — pending legal review
1. Who we are
TravelFit is a UK-based gym pass marketplace. For the purposes of data protection law, TravelFit is the "data controller" of the personal information described below. You can reach us at hello@wetravelfit.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account & booking details: name, email address, and booking history when you register or book a pass.
- Payment information: processed directly by our payment provider, Stripe. TravelFit does not store your full card details.
- Location data: only if you choose to use the "Use my location" feature to find nearby gyms — this is requested by your browser and used solely to sort search results by distance.
- Photos: if a gym partner or user uploads an image through the Site.
- Technical data: standard web analytics such as browser type, pages visited, and general usage patterns.
3. How we use your information
- To process and confirm your gym pass bookings
- To pay gym partners for passes booked through the Site
- To communicate with you about bookings, changes, or support requests
- To improve the Site and understand how it's used
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-fraud and payment compliance
4. Who we share information with
We share limited booking information (such as your name and pass details) with the specific gym you've booked, so they can verify your visit. We use Stripe to process payments and Wise for paying gym partners internationally — both receive only the information necessary to complete those transactions. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. International transfers
Because TravelFit operates across Thailand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, limited booking information is necessarily transferred to gym partners and payment processors in those countries to fulfil your booking. We take reasonable steps to ensure these transfers are handled securely.
6. Data retention
We keep booking and account information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal/tax obligations, and resolve any disputes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
7. Your rights
If you're in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@wetravelfit.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
8. Cookies
The Site may use minimal cookies or local storage strictly necessary for functionality (such as remembering a theme preference). We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Children's privacy
TravelFit is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site develops, particularly ahead of full launch. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
11. Contact
Questions or requests regarding your data can be sent to hello@wetravelfit.com.
